Success Rates in Vaccination
IVF (Vaccination)Vaccination is one of the methods used by couples who have regular intercourse without using contraception techniques as a result of not getting pregnant.
But what is the success level of vaccination?
Vaccination Success Rate and Factors
The expected success rate of the vaccination procedure, which is a repetition of the naturally occurring pregnancy process, is around 10 to 15 percent. Couples who see this percentage and find it low generally do not prefer vaccination and want to go directly to in vitro fertilization treatment. However, the cumulative success level in the vaccination process is around 50 percent on average after 3 vaccinations. Namely; When 10 couples are vaccinated 3 times, it is seen that 5 couples get pregnant as a result of the 3rd vaccination. Some of these couples reach their goal in the first attempt, some in the second attempt, and some in the third attempt. Thus, the cumulative, that is, the total success level, is calculated as 50%. Especially if the mother-to-be is young, the couple’s childbearing time is under 4 years, if there is no problem with the tubes and if the sperm quality of the father-to-be is good, the vaccination procedure should be preferred. In addition to these, the success level is high in father candidates whose sperm count is 5 million and above in 1 milliliter
Post Vaccination Process
Vaccination is a painless process that takes approximately 10 minutes. The expectant mother can return to her daily life after about half an hour of rest from the procedure. If the result of pregnancy is not obtained after this procedure, which does not prevent any restrictions in sexual life, IVF treatment can be started.
